Shipping and Returns

SREYA SAMANTA works with limited stock, and most of the items are custom made on order. Since most of our products are made to order, we ship our Blouses & Ready to wear pieces within 4-6 weeks’ working days from the date of order confirmation, if not mentioned otherwise. Sarees on order may take 8 -12 weeks to be made from the date of order confirmation, post which they shall be shipped out. Shipping within India

We do not offer COD at the moment. Orders in major cities of direct connectivity are delivered in 4-5 days. For smaller cities and remote addresses, we keep a grace of up to 7 days. Excluding Sundays and Public holidays

International Shipping

Below are the standard Shipping details. We understand you’ll like your order to reach you at the earliest. So our runners at Aramex, FEDEX & UPS make sure your goods reach you, no matter where you are in the world, within 7-10 days (*Excluding Sundays & Public Holidays). Delivery times are approximate and not guaranteed. SREYA SAMANTA is not responsible for customs delays. Custom duties/taxes and insurance are not included in your order and may vary from country to country. If you wish to insure the packet, please do send us an email at contact@sreyasamanta.com

Remote Area Charges

All the shipping charges are flat charges and are not based on postal codes. While dispatching the order, if the shipping address is in a remote area you may hear from us regarding the balance payment of shipping charge difference.

ORDER CHANGES, CANCELLATION & REFUND

We do not offer refunds on orders due to the time and labor that goes into each of our products. We make great effort in ensuring that we deliver only the best quality products. Since all our products are hand-made, there will be a certain level of variance in the measurements and colors and the same will not be considered as a product defect. Refunds are only processed based on fulfillment errors, such as incorrectly shipped or missing items. The amount will be refunded within 7 working days via the original mode of payment. If you wish to change your order, please write to us within 24 hours of placing the order at contact@sreyasamanta.com No requests for changes will be considered post the first 24 hours from placement of the order.

ORDER COMMUNICATION

You will receive order-related emails in two stages. 1. An order confirmation email once you place the order. 2. A shipment email once the order is dispatched from our studio to your address. You will be able to track your order on the website of the relevant courier company through the tracking code in the second email. Please ensure someone is there at the given address to receive your order. Delivery will be attempted two times before the shipment is returned to our studio. There will be additional fees for further delivery attempts. Please note that we will be unable to schedule shipping for orders with incomplete addresses or wrong telephone numbers. If you desire express shipping, please write to contact@sreyasamanta.com with the subject: EXPRESS SHIPPING, to inquire about the additional charges to your city. Please note: In case the shipment delivery has failed and the shipment gets returned back to us (returned to sender - RTS), any resulting charges will be additionally borne by the customer.

HANDWOVEN PRODUCTS

Please note: Due to the nature of the dyeing process, colors and textile weight will vary between different lots. This is not deemed as a fault. Also, unevenness in color & texture of print is not a fault but a beautiful characteristic of natural processes. While we have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of the products that appear on the Site, we cannot guarantee that your monitor or screen’s display of any color will be completely accurate, as computer monitors and screens of electronic devices vary. Further, colors might vary in pictures than the actual product.

RETURN AND EXCHANGE

As most of our pieces are custom made on order, we do not offer return or exchange. For pieces such as blouses or garments, sometimes our standard size may not fit you the best. In such cases, we would ask you to share with us your detailed measurements via the ‘Send us your size’ form. In case you choose our standard size and face any fitting issues, please write to us within 3 days of the receival of the product at contact@sreyasamanta.com We would be happy to do the required changes so that you have a great time relishing our beautifully crafted pieces. Please note: All such returns must be authorized by us before you send the goods back. After the return request is accepted, please make sure goods reach us within 15 working days. SREYA SAMANTA holds the right to reject any return request if the products reach the studio after the stipulated time. SREYA SAMANTA also reserves the right to not accept returns in case the product is used or damaged by the customer. The cost of any return shipping and custom duties has to be borne by the customer. The merchandise should not be worn, washed and must be returned in its original condition and accompanied by its original tags. Once these conditions are met, the required changes shall be done, and the piece or pieces shall be shipped within 15 working days of the receipt of goods.

Taxes and Duties

If the law of the land you live in requires you a duty to be paid, the customer will be liable to pay the same. Duties have to be paid over and above the retail price and cannot be cited as a reason to return/reject the parcel.

Non-refundable charges.

The original shipping charges and taxes and duties paid on receipt are non-refundable. The return shipping charges and custom duties/taxes are to be borne by the customer. In any case, if Sreya Samanta sends you a faulty product/ wrong order, we are responsible for bearing all the costs stated above. For Faulty products please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.

Additional information on return from overseas.

All paperwork and the outside of the return box must be clearly marked as “returned goods- no commercial value” to ensure the order is returned to us swiftly with no extra charges. We are not responsible for custom delays, taxes and duties. All items will require a signature upon delivery. If a Return to Shipper (RTS) is requested directly to the shipping company without our consent or if the shipment gets Auto-RTS in the case of failed delivery attempts or if the courier company isn't able to reach the customer then any charges levied for the RTS along with any other duties/charges applicable will have to be borne by the customer.

PRODUCT RECEIVED IN DAMAGED CONDITION / MANUFACTURING DEFECT OR WRONG ITEM

We advise the customer to check the quality/quantity of the product against the invoice before accepting the package from the courier agency. In case of any discrepancy, please leave a suitable remark at the time of receipt. In case the product is damaged or with a manufacturing defect or a wrong product has been sent, kindly write to SREYA SAMANTA at contact@sreyasamanta.com Kindly retain all packaging materials and product/s until a set of instructions from SREYA SAMANTA regarding the same is received. In case of any other complaints regarding the delivered package, email SREYA SAMANTA at contact@sreyasamanta.com within 24 hours of receiving the product. Do not return any product/s to SREYASAMANTA before receiving a confirmation email from at contact@sreyasamanta.com for the same. In case you wish to return a product, write to us at contact@sreyasamanta.com within 24 hours of receiving the product. Once we verify the damage or manufacturing defect, our team will email you with details on how to return said product. In case you email us with regards to returning a product, your email should contain comprehensive details of the defects/complaints of the order/package delivered to you. Please note that SREYA SAMANTA shall examine the returned products for all such defects/variations, on the basis of the customers' emails. All shipping costs of returning the defective products to SREYA SAMANTA, over and above such amount paid by customer towards shipping charges while receiving the same from SREYA SAMANTA, are to be borne by the customer entirely. All defective products are to be returned SREYA SAMANTA in its original condition, original packaging, and sealed carefully. Safe receipt of defective product by SREYA SAMANTA is the sole responsibility of the customer. SREYA SAMANTA shall examine the products returned by the customer for such defects/variations as complained by the customer, and ensure remedial steps are taken immediately. In case it is found on examination of product/invoice/order receipt that the error has occurred due to the customer, then SREYA SAMANTA shall make the necessary modifications/alternations at the cost of the customer.
